The J.C. Kapas Team

John Kapas, Founder

In almost every sense, John Kapas was born into the business of real estate. With a father in the business, John quickly learned the special characteristics of the industry and operated his own office at 24 years of age. Clearly adept at business, his first office in Clifton, NJ, soon became his first building purchase with eight rental units. John became intrigued with the restaurant real estate business by observing the work of his late father, Peter. Through his many contacts in restaurant operations, as well as first hand knowledge through owning and managing restaurants, John developed the present business. After many years of hard work, John is enjoying retirement with his wife and resides in Wyckoff, New Jersey.

Bill Kapas, President

With a proven history in upgrading restaurant operations, Bill Kapas joined the company after more than 10 years in the industry. His degree in Finance from Fordham University gives him the basis for his considerable expertise in structuring deals and creatively tailoring financing to accommodate the needs of both buyers and sellers. Bill possesses a unique ability to judge properties and fit them with buyers who can make them work. And because he has owned and managed successful restaurants, he brings Kapas clients his thorough knowledge of concept development, design layout, cost controls and purchasing efficiencies.
